Privacy

The harvest map, weekly reports, and records are public. You do not need an account to use them.

Page views are counted with Vercel Analytics so we can see which pages are used. That is not an ad network, and we do not sell your data.

We also keep our own simple counts: when a share button is used, when someone arrives on a shared link, and when anaccount or buck post is created. Shared links carry a short tag like ?via=facebook, and a visit on one sets a first-party cookie for 30 days so we can tell which channel brought people in. We don't store IP addresses or build profiles, and nothing is shared with anyone.

For the gear catalog we count what happens without who did it: which products go into or come out of saved builds, which get compared or clicked through to a store, and the words of searches that found nothing (searches that look like an email or phone number are thrown away).

If you create an account, we store your email, name, county, and any loadouts you save. Sign-in uses an HttpOnly cookie. Password-reset mail is sent through Resend when you ask for it.

County photos you submit as an admin are shown on that county page.

Deer you post to the buck board show your username, the county, the date and your weapon. We never ask where you hunted. Photos are resized and re-saved before they're stored, which removes the GPS location and other data your phone attaches. You can delete a post, and its photo, at any time.

If you sign up for the weekly county email, we store your email address and the county you picked, and use them only to send that email through Resend. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can change your county from the link at the bottom of each one.
